Just testing

You have dared to enter the lair of the most ferocious predators in the galaxy!

It is the ulitmate destiny of the Kzinti to conquer the other civilizations of the galaxy, subjugate and enslave any who may prove useful to us, and devour the rest. The Fanged God has ordained that this is how it will be.

In just 26 octals of days (7 months or so...Kzinti count in base 8), the Kzinti Empire rose from obscurity, to #1 on the Metaverse. With the blessings of the Fanged God, we have remained dominant for 100s more octals of days since that auspicious day.  We leapt past the other empires, and our mighty domain now encompasses over 32 million more light years than the second most powerful empire.  The most recent Galactic Map data shows that we have subjugated over 45% of the galaxy.  Many warriors from the old and dying empires have joined us, to avoid being eaten along with the rest.  We hunger to establish indefinite supremacy over all the inferior sentient species...

We have also been #1 on the AltMeta for over 3 years running. The Empire grows more powerful with each passing day as new conquests are won, and more warriors join us in our inevitable rise to rule the galaxy!

The Kzinti are a species of bipedal space-faring feline predators, who love nothing more than conquest and battle. Created by sci-fi writer Larry Niven, the Kzinti have had many stories written about them, most notably in the Man-Kzin Wars series of books. They have also shown up in the Star Trek universe, and a number of other realities.

"Kzinti flesh has a very strong and pungent taste. The weak among us are devoured by their litter-mates within a few moons of birthing. Only the swiftest and most ferocious of us survive to their first naming-day. Those not fit to survive will never live to perpetuate their inferior bloodlines. This is the natural law of the galaxy." - Kzinti Warrior

"The meaning of life is the hot blood of your prey on your tongue, the meat that rends beneath your teeth, the corpse of your enemy left in the sun for the carrion eaters to finish, your defeated foe groveling in submission before you. That is what life is. We are the Kzinti, and we stronger, swifter, wiser, and more ferocious than any other race ever was or will be." - Kzinti philosopher

If your claws can grasp it, then it is rightfully yours. - Kzinti proverb

A salute to all those heroic t'kzintar who have made this empire a resounding success. Our conquests continue and the galaxy will never know peace!

Berfore this irrational beligerency by the Olympian Gods, the Kzinti held no ill will towards them. Perhaps Zeus has lost his senses and is having fever-dream delusions? But that is irrelevant, for the Kzinti take any threat seriously whether it be small or large. With a storm of claws and fangs we will carve a path of red ruin through your people, and leave your carcass to stink in the high sun!

Another AAR....cool. Have you read any of the stories/novel about the Kzinti? THere are quite a few, writtten by many different great sci-fi authors. Your last AAR was quite good, although I wish it had been finished. Good to see you are feeling better enough to engage in threats and taunts (and writing) again. What sort of nasty illness do/did you have?

Oh yes I did finish that one...I forgot that was yours too. I didnt know you quite as well then. I was thinking of the one about the Terran Commonwealth. You really did an excellent job with From the Shadows!

Move your computer next to your bed so you dont have to get up. Mines been in that sort of arrangement for years. I find it much more comfortable to be able to lounge around while playing.

Thanks Jeff!

Commander Mulfia *ahem* Nice, even though it was a craptastic win it earned me a raise in rank at least.

Edit : Look at my last win, 2 years only > I want to see if I can do it in 1 year.

Does difficulty raise the score multipliers?
on Feb 12, 2008
Excellent speed Mulfia! That is one key to getting higher scores. Raising the difficulty does increase your score, but not by a huge amount.

Something like that Raphael... Welcome to the Kzinti!

Another elite warrior has joined his strength to ours, and we will have surpassed the High Command Hegemony by tomorrow. The Diplomats will feel our jaws at their throats soon!

Soon we can enjoy our shiny new silver medals.

The Kzinti will not go unchallenged. You can be sure of that.

My Beagle still catches these Kzinitis. Usually while they're crapping in my sons sandbox.

thinking of beagles, ya see that one won for the first time in the Amer. Kennel show last night? I've always loved beagles, the only breed other than labs/retrievers that I can stand. we (me and my roomies) have been talking about getting a dog, hopefully

I wouldn't want it any other way FB.

I did notice about the beagle SB, but I didn't watch the actual show. Animal Planet is one of my favorite channels, not surprisingly. If I happen to catch some of a dog show, I can never decide if I like it or not. They are fascinating in a way that you might look at a really strange insect. I kinda feel sorry for the dogs sometimes, because I always think they would be happier running around and playing with other dogs, sniffing butts, humping legs, and eating random nasty things they find on the ground. Some of them do seem to enjoy it, but it still seems like such an odd spectacle to me.

oh i don't watch the shows, same as i don't watch horse races...maybe its my Midwestern upbringing but I have no desire to watch that Old Blood pomp and circumstance. I just happened to catch the last little bit and I actually like Beagles, and so I watched. I'm a fan of REAL dogs (meaning I can't fit them in my gf's purse or need to bring a comb so I can redo their curls), so 75% of all breeds don't constitute dogs to me lol.

Only good dog is a working dog. Those little crap rat dogs remind me of cats. Useless

I totally agree....I dont think I could take watching an entire dog show. I look at wolves, then look at some of the strange shapes that some dog breeds have been morphed into and it just seems ridiculous. I understand completely what you mean when you say "real" dogs. The idea of the pure-bred dog bothers me too. Same for cats....most of those pure-bred ones are sort of creepy in my opinion. My cat Loki would eat them for lunch.
